We are looking for a INSPECTION RESIDENT ENGINEER
Primary Objective: Guarantee error-free assembly, avoid rework, and minimize/avoid the risk of delays to achieve the supply schedule.
Required Knowledge:
1- Mechanical assembly of complex industrial equipment
2- Stack assembly procedures interpretation and execution (sequence, torque, alignment, manuals...).
3- Instrumentation, cabling, and pneumatic systems
4- Interpretation of mechanical drawings, 3D models. wiring diagrams
5- ITPs, leak testing, pressure testing, FAT, welding procedures and welded construction inspection
6- Industrial quality assurance and Non-Conformities management
Main Responsibilities & Activities:
1- Assembly Supervision
- Doublecheck and witness execution of assembly according to approved assembly sequence, protocols, vendor instructions, technical manuals and engineering drawings.
- Follow-up of quality inspection plans (ITPs) and oversee of calibrated tools and torque procedures.
2- Quality Control
- Oversee assembly checklists and critical hold points.
- Review of Non-Conformities and promote immediate corrective actions.
- Oversee integrity and proper execution of welded joints, critical interfaces and header connections, with the authority to hold and report assemblies not meeting Nucera/MOEVE/ITP requirements
3- Witnessing Tests
- Leak tests. Pressure tests. Mechanical inspections, welded constructions, other relevant tests
4- Schedule Monitoring support and expediting
- Identify risks of delays caused by mis-assembly, missing materials, or rework.
- Promote the alignment between NCA and SH regarding manufacturing plan (availability of materials, instructions, and components}
- Confirm readiness of delivery of assembled goods to the Project site and support with the release note.
